Hendrick Goltzius (1558–1617) was a Dutch printmaker, draftsman, and painter who played a significant role in the Northern Mannerist style during the late 16th and early 17th centuries. Born in Mühlbracht, the Holy Roman Empire (now in Germany), Goltzius later moved to the Netherlands, where he became a prominent figure in the Dutch art scene.
